Dave Stephens in residence

Did you ever skate across Roath Park Lake? Or see The Three Stooges at Canton Cinema? Do you know what mitching is?

Dave Stephens is a raconteur, performance artist, sculptor and stand-up comic who creates fantastic and true stories from his experiences and observations. Currently living in England, he was burn just around the corner from Chapter, and grew up in the Cardiff of the sixties.

We’ve invited Dave to create a new evening’s entertainment based on his experiences here. As part of it he’d like YOU to help. If you were brought up in Cardiff he wants to know what your early years were like: do you remember the Kardomah Cafe in Queen Street? Or the Soudn of Music playing a the Capitol? Write to Dave now, c/o Chapter, with your anecdotes of the period. He’ll reply to all letters, and some of the material (with names changed if you wish!) will be used in the show.
